This Zenza Bronica S2 is a medium format SLR capable of producing twelve 6x6cm square negatives on a roll of 120 roll film. The Bronica S2 features interchangeable lenses, viewfinders, and film backs. It is the first Bronica SLR to have the removable focusing helicoil between the lens and body. The camera has a mechanical focal plane shutter capable of shooting at shutter speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/1000th of a second and also has a bulb mode for long exposures.
This Bronica S2 has been film tested and is in overall good working order. However, the focusing screen appears to be slightly out of place due to aging of support pads underneath it. The previous owner partially remedied this problem by sticking four toothpick ends into the corners of the screen. We noted very minor focusing discrepancies in our test roll, and the screen does not show sharp focus at infinity. Given this camera's reputation for problems with its internal brass gearing, it is being sold As Is with No Warranty and it is priced accordingly.
